Splendor: Psalm 145: 5-6

Ranunculus blossom

I will meditate on your majestic, glorious splendor

    and your wonderful miracles.

Your awe-inspiring deeds will be on every tongue;

    I will proclaim your greatness.

Psalm 145: 5-6 (NLT)

When the world overwhelms, when the news is depressing, when you feel alone, take time to meditate on the glorious splendor of God’s world. Take time to focus on the intricacies of nature, the beauty of the garden, and God’s wonderful miraculous love and grace. Relax in God, rest in His word, and find peace. Remember to take time to thank the Lord for his great deeds.

Where do you enjoy and relax in the glorious splendor of God?

Prayer: Our heavenly Father, we stand in awe of the wonder of You. We thank you for Your unconditional love for us. We are filled with wonder at the majestic splendor that surrounds us. As beauty and brightness glow, in the Ranunculus blossom, teach us to radiate Your love. Jesus, we honor, praise, and worship Your Holy name! Amen

  1. That flower is beautiful! I love the vibrant color! I enjoy taking walks because being out in nature is so calming and I am reminded of God’s majesty as I admire His creation. It also gives me a chance to talk to the Lord and think. Thank you Jeanne! I always enjoy your posts and seeing the different flowers. 🧡

    1. Thank you the flower photo is a favorite of mine. The beautiful natural world around us is where I find peace and feel close to God. Planting a seed and watching it grow into a plant and blossom brings me joy. Dawn, have a blessed weekend!

  2. I’m trying to remember where I “enjoy and relax….” It’s been a rough day. Not all bad, but a struggle. Reading others blogs has helped. I hope one of or both of my blogs will be that way for others. Sometimes we have days where we need a barrage of reminders until it really sinks in. Thanks for sharing. And for encouraging me on my blogs. ❤
