Ephesians 3: 16 I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, 17 so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, 18 may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, 19 and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.
What a wonderful Bible passage we are all truly blessed by Christ’s love for us. May the loving spirit of Christ fill your life today and always. Try to take time to share this loving spirit with others today.

its leaves are always green.

Jeremiah 17:7-8
As a gardener, this is one of my favorite verses. It’s like a word picture of trust in God. What a wonderful image of a tree planted by the water with strong roots and leaves always green. What a pleasure no worries, even in a year of drought and uncertain weather. What a joy to bear fruit in life. God lead me to this kind of confidence.

Often peace is elusive it seems frustration and worries invaded our working and sleeping hours. However, God promises peace. Peace at all time and in every way. Take time today to listen and relax in God. Take time today to walk in His garden and find the peace He wants you to have.

The trillium plant with its leaves in groups of three reminds me of the Holy Trinity. The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. The Father who created us and loves us, the Son died for us to redeem us, and the Holy Spirit who dwells in us as our helper and guide.

Be patient with everyone. 1 Thessalonians 5:14
A short powerful sentence and a difficult task. I do consider myself to be patient and kind. However, in day to day life, it doesn’t seem to take long for my patience to be depleted. Today I will work on being patient, considerate, and slowing down my schedule to take time to enjoy the view from the garden swing.
