The garden is in its production mode now and the produce is starting to abound. It is a great time for sharing vegetables, compassion, and faith. Remember your neighbors. Thanks to God for plants and the joy and food they provide.

5 Yes, my soul, find rest in God; my hope comes from him. 6 Truly he is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will not be shaken. 7 My salvation and my honor depend on God; he is my mighty rock, my refuge. 8 Trust in him at all times, you people; pour out your hearts to him, for God is our refuge.

Thanks be to God who is our shield, strength, and refuge. He is our ever-present help in times of trouble and our hope for days to come. Praise His name!

Ephesians 3: 16 I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, 17 so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, 18 may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, 19 and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.
What a wonderful Bible passage we are all truly blessed by Christ’s love for us. May the loving spirit of Christ fill your life today and always. Try to take time to share this loving spirit with others today.

As a gardener, this is one of my favorite verses. It’s like a word picture of trust in God. What a wonderful image of a tree planted by the water with strong roots and leaves always green. What a pleasure no worries, even in a year of drought and uncertain weather. What a joy to bear fruit in life. God lead me to this kind of confidence.

Often peace is elusive it seems frustration and worries invaded our working and sleeping hours. However, God promises peace. Peace at all time and in every way. Take time today to listen and relax in God. Take time today to walk in His garden and find the peace He wants you to have.
