He Will Help Us – Isaiah 31:14

For I am the LORD your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you. Isaiah 41:13 (NIV)

In verse 13, the Lord states He is our God; He has a personal relationship with us. We are never alone; God is always with us. He created us in His image and is personally involved in our lives.

Israel, the LORD who created you says, “Do not be afraid–I will save you. I have called you by name–you are mine. Isaiah 43:1 (GNT)

God holding our right hand signifies His love, protection, closeness, and guidance. It symbolizes God’s reassuring presence, guidance, and protection during times of trials and when we feel lost or overwhelmed. We belong to God through Jesus, and He calls us by name.

“Do not fear” is a phrase frequently found in scripture, serving as a reminder to trust in God, which can lead to peace. We are called to trust His promises, His power, and His strength. There is no need for fear because God is always with us; He will help us. Supporting us and empowering us during challenging times. God is with us.

That’s right. Because I, your God,
have a firm grip on you and I’m not letting go.
I’m telling you, ‘Don’t panic.
I’m right here to help you.’ Isaiah 41:13 (MSG)

⁂

Lord, you are our God, our strength, and our redeemer. Thank You for always being with us, guiding and protecting us. Teach us to reach out to You in prayer, sharing our worries and concerns with You. Let us not be afraid, knowing that You love us, will help us, and are always with us. Like a sunflower grows and blossoms in sunlight, let us grow and blossom in Your love. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
