Yours, O Lord: 1Chronicles 29:11

11 Yours, O Lord, is the greatness, the power, the glory, the victory, and the majesty. Everything in the heavens and on earth is yours, O Lord, and this is your kingdom. We adore you as the one who is over all things.

1 Chronicles 29:11 (NLT)

King David has gathered gifts for building God’s temple, which his son Solomon will build. In verse 11 he is praising and worshiping the Lord. It is a wonderful prayer for us as well, Yours, O Lord, is the greatness, the power, the glory, the victory, and the majesty. Resounding with praise, O Lord, we adore You, we worship You, and thank You for all you have done and continue to do for us.

Yours, O Lord is the power and glory! Have you taken time to praise and show gratitude to God, to adore Him?

Prayer: Our Heavenly Father, we thank You, we praise You, we adore You. Yours, O Lord, is the kingdom the power and the glory. Yours is the victory and the majesty. May we always turn to You for direction, help, and guidance. As the bowed begonia blossom glows in the sunshine, let us bow in prayer before You and glow with Your love. In Jesus’ holy name. Amen

  1. Amen. Beautiful prayer as expected. He is most definitely worthy of our praise and adoration even when life feels hard or we don’t understand where He’s leading. I hope your week is already filled with all things wonderful. God bless you, Jeanne. โ˜บ

I’m not sure we are supposed to know where He is leading us we just need to be open to His way. ๐Ÿ˜Š Thanks for the kind words and blessings! I enjoy this time of year.
