Filled with God: Ephesians 3:19-20

19 You will know Christ’s love, which goes far beyond any knowledge. I am praying this so that you may be completely filled with God. 20 Glory belongs to God, whose power is at work in us. By this power he can do infinitely more than we can ask or imagine.

Ephesians 3:19-20(GWT)

Christ’s love is unconditional, encompassing, tender, forgiving, and patient. The true immensity of His redeeming love and forgiveness is unfathomable, beyond our knowledge. His extravagant love fills our souls, opens our hearts, and directs us to the will of God. When we are filled with God, we become in touch with His power, love, strength, and His direction. We lift our voices in song and praise for the glory and power of God, thankful for His abundant grace toward us.

When we are filled with God, His power is at work in us. When you feel powerless, do you turn to God and allow His power to work?

Prayer: Our Heavenly Father, we are in awe of your power, forgiveness, and love for us. We thank you for Your son Jesus and His great sacrifice and love for us. God fill us, teach us to be open-hearted, forgiving, and thankful. Like the lovely open, centered, allium flowers, let us be open to Your presence, centered on You, and spread Your love. In Jesus’ holy name. Amen

  1. Amen. It’s a wonderful thing to be filled with God! Without Him we are weak and unable to spread and share His love and compassion. But with Him we can do all things by His power in us. May we be filled and over flowing like some of His beautiful flowers that cascade over the pots edge. That’s a lovely picture. Have a beautiful week, Jeanne. ☺

    1. Hi Tina, It is always good to hear from you! Yes, we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us. What a good comparison of a flower pot overflowing with beautiful flowers to His overflowing love for us. Thanks! May your week be filled with beauty! 🌺🦋🌼
